Levi’s launches Spring/Summer 2012

PANJIM: Levi’s Spring/Summer 12 collection features classic, American cool looks rooted in authenticity and honesty.
Inspiration for the collection comes from unspoiled nature – the small California coastal community of Sea Ranch. Beautiful and somewhat isolated, about a hundred miles north of San Francisco, Sea Ranch is a quiet mixture of ocean spray, native flora and only about 1,300 permanent residents.
The inspiration for the color palette of the season – indigos, tobacco, reds and fresh summer whites – stems from a deconstructed pair of jeans that is washed, worn
and sun scorched. Oxidized, faded colors with a home-spun, worn-in feel make up the core of the collection with pops of color including vintage orchids, coral, pinks and blues.
