BSNL restores services in Valpoi
VALPOI (HC): BSNL Services (mobile and landlines) at Valpoi was restored after a gap of two days on Friday afternoon.
It may recalled that BSNL Services had been disrupted, causing great hardship to customers in and around Valpoi.
Sources at BSNL service centre at Valpoi told Herald that the disruption of service had taken place due to the damage caused to the underground cables by workers of Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation (GSIDC) while carrying out beautification work in Valpoi.
"Very often, underground cables are damaged by GSIDC workers at Valpoi. The worst thing is that they do not even inform BSNL office after damage and this problem really adds to the poor service at Valpoi, ever since
GSIDC started the digging work," informed sources.
