PANJIM: Corjuem defeated Ollaulim 3-1 to enter the quarter-finals of Augustius Soccer, Pomburpa, Augustius ground, today.

Ollaulim took the lead in the first half through Prashant Naik only to see Abel Dias equalise in the first half itself. Corjuem added another two goals in the second half through Rocky Fernandes and Joel Sequeira to make it 3-1.

In another match, Golna, Pomburpa beat Coirut, Aldona 2-0. Amar Hadfadkar scored for Golna in the first half. Amit Parsekar scored to ensure that they enter the quarter-finals.

A one-minute silence was observed before the match as a mark of respect for the Calvim victims.
