PANJIM: V M Salgaocar College of Law, Mira Mar won the inter-college cricket championship defeating DM's College, Assagao by three wickets in the finals played at Goa University ground, Taleigao.

Kyle Ticlo was awarded the best-player-of-the- championship trophy while Praveen Gawas received the man-of-the-match trophy.

Ashutosh Natekar 28 runs, Amey Naique 15, Sachin Parsekar 15, Utkarsh Pokle 10, Ajinkya 10. Onkar Gaonkar 2 /20, Rajshekhar Harikant 2/ 22, Vithalraj Sangodkar 1/17, Kyle Ticlo 1/20 and Deepesh Shetkar 1/ 8.

In reply, Salgaocar won the match in 17th over with three wickets in hand. Praveen Gawas 36, Kyle Ticlo 24, Vithalraj Sangodkar 20, Rajshekhar Harikant 14 and Kalpesh Kamat 14. Ajinkya Kudtarkar 3/13, Vinayak, Dhanesh and Shubham one wicket each.
