“The manager of the school, Antonieta Coutinho and headmistress, Premalata Rathod have always been a big source of encouragement and motivation in the activities which promote the wellbeing of the students,” says Deepak Venktappa, PE teacher.
“Winning at the state level is a huge achievement for the students as it gives them a unique platform to showcase their knowledge in sports and fitness and also provide them an opportunity to feature on National television,” says Premalata Rathod, VVHS headmistress.
The school stands to gain a lot as the school has won an amount of Rs 2,50,000 (Rupees Two Lakh Fifty Thousand) and students Rs 12,500 (Rupees Twelve Thousand Five Hundred) each on being the State Champions.
“Now, they have an opportunity of winning another 25 lakhs should they emerge as National winners,” says Antonieta Coutinho, VVHS Manager.
