Rumbler strips create nuisance in Port Town

In Vasco, a particular set of rumbler strips located near Goa Shipyard is causing misery to the residents of several houses situated along the main road. 

It is pertinent to note that these houses are below the level of the road. The rattling noise caused by the movement of vehicles on the rumbler strips is disturbing the residents and giving them sleepless nights. 

Some houses have even developed cracks on the walls as seen in the photo. These rumbler strips need to be shifted to another location. It is learned that several representations have been made to the authorities concerned by the affected people but to no avail.
