MARGAO: Due to heavy rains and gusty winds, some roof zinc sheets at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao, were blown away on Thursday.
The incident was reported late Thursday night, but the damage was minor, according to Rajendra Talak, Chairman of Ravindra Bhavan-Margao.
Talak also informed sheets were replaced between 9:30 and 10 am on Friday. Meanwhile, taking serious note of those making an issue out of nothing, Talak appealed to critics to also acknowledge the efforts made by Ravindra Bhavan in addressing and improving the situation.
He stated, "We have resolved several pending issues at Ravindra Bhavan to ensure that both performers and audiences receive better service."
He further mentioned that staff has been deployed to address any issues that arise during the monsoon, ensuring they can be resolved as quickly as possible.
