MARGAO: Seven schools in Margao, which are located in the vicinity of the Lok Sabha (LS) election counting centre for South Goa Parliamentary Constituency, will remain closed on Tuesday, June 4.
The schools which will be closed include Ramacrisna Madeva Salgaoncar Higher Secondary School (RMS), Damodar High School, Damodar Higher Secondary Science School, Mahila & Nutan English High School, Popular High School, Loyola High School and Fatima Convent High School.
This measure aims to avoid traffic congestion on the counting day for the LS elections. The counting process will take place at the Damodar College Complex in Comba, Margao, on June 4.
