Goa Chief Minister Announces Film City and Promises Bigger IFFI

Panjim: Goa Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant, announced plans to establish a film city in Goa under the Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) during the opening ceremony of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI). Emphasizing the state's commitment to becoming a film hub, Sawant expressed his vision for the film city project.

The International Film Festival of India in Goa commenced on November 20th and is scheduled to continue until November 28th. Dr. Sawant promised that the next edition of IFFI would be significantly larger, reflecting the state's dedication to the growth and promotion of the film industry.

The establishment of a film city aims to enhance Goa's status as a prominent destination for film production and cultural events, contributing to the state's vibrant and diverse cultural landscape.
