Goa to host Bulbul Children’s International Film Festival for the first time

After successful organization of the 54th International Film Festival of India, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Thursday announced that the state will be hosting the Bulbul Children’s International Film Festival for the very first time. The 5 day festival is scheduled to take place from 9th to 13th January 2024 at Ravindra Bhavan Margao.

This festival will showcase over 50 international children’s films, creating an immersive cinematic experience for attendees. Notably, children aged between 10 to 18 years will have the privilege of free entry to the festival. Chief Minister Sawant said that 8 thousand children have already registered, indicating a high level of anticipation for the festival.

The festival will be jointly organised by the Department of Information and Publicity, Ravindra Bhavan, Margao and Antarang Productions. In addition to film screenings, the event will feature various children-oriented competitions, activities, and master classes, running concurrently at the venue.
