IndiGo Faces Criticism as Passengers Allege Deceptive Practices in Bengaluru Incident

Six passengers aboard an IndiGo flight destined for Chennai claim they were compelled to deplane at Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) in Bengaluru. The incident unfolded around 9:30 pm on Sunday after the arrival of IndiGo flight 6E478, which originated from Amritsar and was en route to Chennai via Bengaluru.

According to reports, passengers assert that IndiGo misled them by assuring accommodation on an alternative flight ready for departure. However, they allege that the airline employed this tactic to avoid flying with only six passengers on board. Expressing dissatisfaction with the airline's handling of the situation, passengers emphasized the inconvenience caused by the unexpected change in travel plans.

The incident prompts scrutiny of the airline's customer service practices and the transparency of communication with passengers, raising concerns about ensuring a positive travel experience. As of now, IndiGo has not issued an official statement addressing the allegations made by the affected passengers.
