The Charles Correa Foundation will elaborate on Kala Academy’s deteriorating state at a meeting by Kala Rakhonn Mandd in Madgao. 

The meeting will discuss the issue after watching the presentation, which will be held on Friday, July 5th, 2024, at 5 p.m. at the Fomento Amphitheatre of Gomant Vidya Niketan in Madgao. 

Ms Tanvi Karia, renowned architect and Convenor of the Charles Correa Foundation will make an elaborate presentation on how the whole Kala Academy complex has been damaged for the last two decades, beginning with the first IFFI held in Goa in 2004. 

Cecile Rodrigues, Secretary of the Kala Rakhonn Mandd, has appealed to all artists, tiatrists, writers, musicians, dancers, singers, painters, folk artists, and other art lovers to gather in large numbers and understand the issue in depth. 

Ms Rodrigues has also appealed to all 40 MLAs to attend this presentation and press for the demand of a White Paper on Kala Academy in the forthcoming monsoon Assembly.
