Ketan Kurtarkar Fires Warning Shot That Core Bjp Cadres Are Being Sidelined

Kurtarkar was the General Secretary of the Margao BJP Mandal and ex MMC councillor

MARGAO: On Wednesday, the General Secretary of BJP’s Margao Mandal Ketan Kurtarkar and his MMC councilor sister Sushanta Amonkar resigned from the BJP. Speaking later at a press conference Kurtarkar clarified his stand why he had resigned from the BJP, where he had worked throughout his life without changing parties, like others, he stated.

Kurtarkar openly alleged that prominent and grassroot BJP cadres were being sidelined by Margao MLA Digambar Kamat and their work was being blocked. He said he was resigning from the ruling party. “If by being in the ruling party he cannot give justice to his people, I prefer to resign and give justice to them,” he said.

He fired a warning shot that this is happening to BJP all over Goa.
