Sunburn Music Festival has announced that it will shift to South Goa. This year the festival will be held from December 28 to 30. The organizers have announced it as a next chapter of Sunburn.
Immerse yourself in the ultimate blend of music and surreal underwater experience, the message says. It described that the new venue will be stunning.
However, already there is opposition to the shifting of Sunburn to south Goa. “We have heard that Sunburn is shifting to South Goa. They have finished North Goa with drugs, noise pollution, etc. The politicians collect money from them. Everyone gets money. We know what is Sunburn. It is drug venue. People have died at the festival of drug overdose. That this festival is happening in Goa is shocking,” Senior Activist Jose Maria Miranda, from Margao told Herald TV.
“But people don’t fight. If they are organizing it in the South, we have to start a movement now only, to stop it. We don’t want Sunburn and we will ensure that Sunburn does not take place. Although not much development has happened in South Goa, we have kept it peaceful and without much problems. They have created problems in the North and are now bringing them to the South. I don’t know what has happened to our politicians,” Jose Maria Miranda rued.
