Sanadoboina Rajaiah, a Telangana native, was arrested by the police for allegedly performing dangerous car stunts, featuring a person sleeping on the car roof. The arrest follows the circulation of a viral video on social media, showing a Telangana state vehicle moving on Khourjuem bridge with a person sleeping atop the roof.
The Mapusa police, led by SDPO Jivba Dalvi, filed a case against the driver, seizing the vehicle involved. Identified as Sanadoboina Mahesh, he has been arrested under sections 279, 336 IPC, and Section 192 of the Motor Vehicles Act.
The SUV used in the stunt has also been taken into custody. The accused faces charges of driving recklessly, negligently, and endangering human life by violating permit rules. Investigations are currently underway.
