Story: During courtship Roma (Janice) gets pregnant and Myron (Maxie) seeks abortion. Will they  unite in marriage?
Review:
Myron comes from a well-to-do family and is brought up by his parents Lyod (Satyawant Tari), a lawyer by profession, and Sylvia (Lavina). But he seems to be a spoilt brat. Roma belongs to a poor family and resides with her father Bartolomeu (Menino de Bandar), who is an upright man. Roma is modest and firm with principles in life.
Myron is in love with Roma. Myron enjoys hunting and one fine day when on a wild hunt, Roma discloses to her fiancé that she is pregnant. Myron cannot digest the hard truth and instantly seeks abortion from her. Roma is not willing to bow down to Myron’s request and demands early marriage in order to avoid shame and humiliation.
Myron drags Roma to family doctor (Luciano) and after much convincing and persuasion by the doctor, Myron is willing to marry his girlfriend. But again when they come together at their usual meeting point on the bridge, Myron gets irritated at the thought that Roma is pregnant.
After heated discussion, Myron pushes Roma into the river. And now, Myron feels he is a free bird, with no tensions to bear. But has Roma drowned or was she saved from the clutches of death? How does their reunion take place?
Menino de Bandar’s tiatr ‘Paichem Tem Bhurgeanchem’ is a family story with various developments. It speaks about pregnancy before marriage and the hardships faced by the woman when she unites with her husband. It also throws light on the support extended by the in-laws when they note the harassment faced by the daughter-in-law.
As husband and wife, Satyawant Tari and Lavina extend good support to each other. As a caring father, Menino de Bandar is convincing. Maxie and Janice pair well as lovebirds initially and a little later as husband and wife. The latter is apt in body language after marriage and wins sympathy from the audience. Teen Madora as Sonia is quite expressive and has a bright future on tiatr stage. In a double role, Luciano delivers comfortably.
In the comic acts, Humbert, Valencio and Fiona form a comical triangle and entertain with their laughter pills.
In the category of songs, Elisa, Cajetan de Curtorim, T Briton, Avila, Jonathan and Janice entertain with their solos. Cajetan de Curtorim, Menino de Bandar and Valencio step on stage with their trio. But a duo, duet, quartet and choral go amiss and fall short of a complete package.
