RAIA: Brazilian Boys secured an easy 3-0 victory over Mix Friends A&A in the inter-ward Football league tournament organized by Brazilian Boys, Duncolim, held at Seraulim Church ground.
The first goal came in the 9th minute when Ashley Fernandes, running down the left flank, dodged a couple of defenders and passed the ball to Jess Cardozo, who scored to give his team a 1-0 lead.
Jess Cardozo struck again in the 21st minute with a solo run, placing the ball into the far corner of the net, making it 2-0 by halftime.
The third and final goal was scored by Sherwyn Da Costa. The Mix Friends goalkeeper failed to collect the ball, and Sherwyn, seizing the opportunity, nodded it home to secure a 3-0 win for Brazilian Boys.
