RAIA: Parish Youth Nuvem secured their spot in the semi-finals with a thrilling 1-0 victory over Guardian Angel Savordem, at the 33rd Super Soccer tournament in memory of Late Joao Francis Fernandes, organised by United Boys of Dando Colva.
Inacio Colaco scored the all important goal in the 19th minute.
The match was far from straightforward, marked by intense on-field drama with five yellow cards and a red card. Nuvem held a narrow 1-0 lead at halftime, but the real action erupted after the break.
Guardian Angel Savordem dominated the second half, relentlessly attacking Nuvem's defense. Despite their midfielders orchestrating numerous opportunities, the Savordem forwards couldn't find the back of the net. Missed chances and near-misses left Savordem frustrated, as Nuvem's defense held firm under pressure.
Inacio Colaco received man-of-the-match award from Markus Carvalho former National football player.
