RAIA: Mixed Friends A&A, Seraulim, downed Active Youth, Soccobhatt, 2-1 in the Seraulim inter-ward league football tournament organised by Brazilian Boys, Duncolim, at Seraulim Church ground, on Sunday.
Mixed Friends A&A scored a brace through their striker Oliver D’Souza in the 14th and 24th minute. Both goal scored in similar fashion when he smartly placed the ball into the far corner of the net.
Tregan Fernandes reduced the margin for Active Youth just minutes before the final whistle when his power-packed shot hit the crossbar and entered into the goal. In the second match, Active Boys, Per Seraulim, thrashed Arsenal Boys 4-0 also to earn full points. Nayab Khan and Sohail both scored a brace each.
