RAIA: In a thrilling encounter at the 33rd Super Soccer tournament in memory of Joao Francis Fernandes organised by United Boys of Dando, Colva, Navelim Villagers Union secured a thrilling win over St Anthony’s SC, Assolda, 6-5 in a nerve-wracking tie-breaker to secure a spot in the semi-finals.
Alton Vaz of St Anthony’s SC was rightly awarded the man-of-the-match by Rony Diniz, vice president and organising secretary of United Club of Benaulim.
