The story revolves around a corrupt politician Franco (Anil Pednekar), his spouse Melba (Roma), who is devout and tries to stay away from all the wrongdoings of her husband. Their only son Skyler (Franky Gonsalves) is a spoiled brat on account of the moral support from his father.

Skyler is involved with Shirley (Antonet de Maina), who is a doctor by profession. They both are in love with each other and during their courtship, Shirley becomes pregnant.

To do away from shame and humiliation in the society, Skyler provides an easy solution to his fiancée—abortion. But she is unwilling to take that inhuman step in life. Instead, she resolves to find against the injustice done towards her.

On the other hand, there’s Rioma (Rioma), who comes from a poor family and she is involved with Rylan (Vilber). While the former is serious with her life, the latter wishes to go by ‘use and throw’. Despite being aware of Rylan’s involvement with another, Rioma insists that he should marry her on the wedding day to avoid embarrassment.

Now, what follows next in the lives of Shirley and Rioma is worth the watch in the second half of the drama. Will Shirley be able to fight singlehandedly and get justice? Who assists her in the lone fight against atrocities towards women? After Rylan walks away, will Rioma be able to face rejection and depression? Who assists her to teach the culprit a lesson?

Drawing inspiration from the gruesome incident wherein a junior doctor was gang-raped and murdered in Delhi recently, Lawry Travasso’s tiatr ‘Chiklantlim Fulam’ focuses on the atrocities towards women in today’s society and how the fight continues, without the required punishment to the culprits and justice to the victims.

‘Chiklantim Fulam’ carries a good storyline, but there’s too much of violence in the form of rape by father and son and then in the concluding scene the uprooting of tongue of the culprit to teach every notorious a befitting lesson.

Anil Pednekar stands out as a corrupt politician, while Franky Gonsalves and Vilber are portrayed as villains. Roma does justice to her sober role. Antonet de Maina and Rioma are projected as victims or rape and rejection respectively. Rosy Alvares makes brief entries as ‘mauxi’, but she carries words of wisdom, being herself an object of dishonor.

In the comic acts, there’s comedian Richard along with Myron and Samica entertaining the audience with laughter pills. Check comedian Myron enacting various characters in advertisements such as ‘Amul Butter’ and others.

In the section of songs, there’s Peter de Arambol stepping on stage for the opening song, followed by another solo later. There are solos from Lawry Travasso and Rosy Alvares, besides songs from Lawry and Rosy, Saby de Divar, Myron and Antonet de Maina. One song by Rosy, Rioma, Antonet de Maina and Roma focuses on the exposition of the sacred relics of St Francis Xavier and another song by Rioma and Myron, a befitting tribute to their departed fathers whose contributions on the tiatr stage cannot be forgotten. A political solo by Saby de Divar receives an encore. The live band offstage has provided good music, besides background music by Norman.

The stage sets are by Anthony de Ambaji and lights have been handled by Inas.
