Goa will play host to the ‘India International Music Week’ 2025. This announcement was made Monday at Eurosonic Noorderslag which is presently underway in Groningen, the Netherlands.
The IIMW ‘25, to be held in Goa, India in February 2025 is a first-of-its-kind event in South Asia and is scheduled to be a 5 day global music trade conference and showcase festival.
This unprecedented event promises to be a global gathering of like-minded artists, event promoters, labels, industry trailblazers, and music enthusiasts. IIMW is committed to a pioneering spirit of encouraging and facilitating international trade to shape how the world interacts with the Indian music industry while defining the position & journey of international artists and music in India and the Indian Sub continent.
With a focus on emerging artists and talent, the showcase festival will see live performances across multiple stages by diverse artists from around the world and India. The conference will witness insightful panel discussions on market trends, workshops, artists residencies, mixers, dinners, pitch sessions, music production residencies and regional tours for participating professionals, artists and members.
The details are being worked out with regards to the possible venues in Goa. With this inaugural announcement, IIMW also establishes a partnership with ‘ESNS Exchange’ which is ESNS’s global festival partnership program.
