The International Film Festival of India (IFFI) which will be held till November 28 is a celebration, not just of cinema, art and music but life itself. With day-long film screenings at venues across Goa, the magic of live music will take centre stage at the DB Grounds, Panjim over four days with the best of live entertainment.
IFFIESTA will bring pulsating music to the fore with world renowned artistes entertaining the crowds. Goa’s very own talented hip-hop artistes will be featured on the first day of the event and even Reuben De Melo, who recently won the Voice Australia has returned to Goa for his first performance. November 21 will be Day one with Reuben De Melo and DJ Brainwash followed by Tsumyoki with Goa Trap Culture opening for Paradox.
Winner of the Best Indian Local Act Award at MTV EMAs 2023, Tsumyoki will be sharing the stage with Kidd Mange, Elttwo, Falze and Ranen. He says, “It feels good to perform as we are just good friends having fun at the end of the day. It’s just nice that we get to do it in front of thousands of people. I learnt not to keep expectations, I just go out and give the best to the crowd. It’s easier that way.”
November 22 will bring in rock band The Yellow Diary, The Spindoctor and Anik. The extravaganza will continue with indie-folk band When Chai Met Toast, Anumita Nadesan and Nash on Day 3, November 23 and finally, the show will conclude with Asees Kaur as the headlining act on November 24 with Chor Bazaar and Untamed.
