The third edition of the Mister Supranational 2018 pageant took place on December 8, 2018 in Krynica-Zdrój, Poland. Thirty-nine finalists from around the globe competed for the coveted title of Mister Supranational 2018.
Prathamesh was sashed by Gabriel Correa Mister Supranational
2017 and he received the trophy from Miss Supranational 2018 Valeria Vazquez.
At the same pageant Mister Supranational Poland Jakub Kucner was adjudged first
runner up. The second runner up title was won by Mister Supranational Brazil
Samuel Costa. Meanwhile the third runner up title was conferred on Mister
Supranational Thailand Kevin Dasom, with Mister Supranational Netherlands Ennio
Fafieanie winning fourth runner up title.
Goa boy Prathamesh Maulingkar,
Mister Supranational 2018, says he always had the confidence to make it to the
top. Nevertheless, he could hardly believe it when his name was announced as
the winner. The 27-year-old defeated 38 other contestants from all over the
world in the final round, going on to win the coveted title. Having worked hard
for three years to clinch the title, Prathamesh is “super happy” as he says,
and is now looking forward to coming back home to Goa and celebrating his
success with his friends and family. Being a Goan, he loves sea food and is
looking forward to eating home cooked meal.
Prathamesh says, “I
was surprised when they announced my name as the winner and whenGabriel Correa
handed over the winner’s trophy andput the sash on me, it was the most incredible
feeling. I knew I had it in me, but frankly, the win was unexpected. Reality
has now set in and I can believe it too. Hard work definitely pays off. I would
like to thank the Miss India Organization for believing in me and giving me
this opportunity to represent my country atthe Mister Supranational 2018
platform.” Prathamesh groomed and trained himself for this year’s contest and
won the coveted title of Mister Supranational 2018.
The former St Anne
School and St Xavier higher secondary college student of Goa says he is now
looking forward to sharing his happiness at winning the Mister Supranational
title with his family and friends back home.
“My parents, friends
from school, college and my gym are eagerly awaiting for my arrival. My mom
started crying on hearing the news of my win. My parents were so happy that
they cut a cake and partied the whole night. My friends have been calling me
and showering me with their love and best wishes. There is so much excitement
among all my relatives and even our neighbors; my school and college want to
honor me. This is what I call God’s blessings. It’s a beautiful feeling.”
Giving credit to the
city of his birth for this win, Prathamesh says, “All the credit goes to Goa
for my success. My basic personality has been shaped by this city. Yes, I got
the exposure and the confidence to face the world in Mumbai, where I shifted to
a year ago, but Goa is where my roots are.”

Speaker of the Goa Legislative Assembly and the Tourism Minister Manohar Ajgaonkar,
had wished Prathamesh, when he won the title of Mr. India - Supranational and
said that he should do his best, win and come back. He is looking forward to
meeting and sharing his happiness with him.
Prathmesh is an avid
footballer and swimmer,and has a disciplined exercise regime. His hard work and
his dedication towards fitness has also helped him win the title of ‘Best Body
at the Mister Supranational 2018 pageant’. His very own exercise program and
his diet and health tips are what he attributes this title to. His fashion
sense is eclectic and his personality and good looks are what made him a
sure-fire winner!
Talking
about the journey ahead Prathamesh is keen to explore opportunities in both
Bollywood and the South Indian Film Industry. He is also very passionate about
the ocean and the environment and would like to be associated with an NGO that
spreads awareness about the ill effects of plastic pollution in India.
Prathamesh will be travelling to different countries with Mister Supranational
organization and be a part of their varied projects.
