PANJIM: Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) Mayor Rohit Monserrate on Tuesday announced the lineup for the Goa Carnival 2024 which will be held in the city from February 10 to 13, 2024.
Addressing a press conference, he said the route for the Panjim Carnival parade will be from Patto to Kala Academy.
The parade will be held on February 10, 2024, and its special attraction will be the CCP float decked up by Francisco Martins on the occasion of completion of his 50 years of organising Carnival.
The events will be held at the Samba Square area. On February 10, 2024, bands such as Night N day, Blackside, Forefront, Raaga2riches and Emcee Doris will be in attendance.
The bands which will have their performances on February 11, 2024, include K7, Alcatrazz & Emcee Shane/Neil. However the main highlight would be the international retro supersonic band ‘Queen’, all the way from the UK.
On February 12, the bands in attendance will be Shineon, Band Ambassador, Tidal Wave and Emcee Savio while the bands which will have their performances on February 13 are Crimson Tide, Archies and Amcee Jessica.
Besides there would also be food and liquor stalls at Samba Square venue and a kidzone entertainment play area for the children between 5 pm to 7 pm.
