Through my citizen Herald letter dated 9 September, I had brought to the attention of the concerned authorities regarding the need of a bus stop shelter near Shantadurga High school Bicholim which was useful for the last so many years for elderly and those waiting for the buses at this junction. It was especially useful as a shelter during the rains and during the hot summer.
While I appreciate the promptness of the concerned authorities in immediately erecting the bus shelter, it has been lying incomplete for some weeks now. Request the authorities to put metal sheets on this bus shelter at the earliest in the wake of the winter season to avoid any sort of inconvenience for the elderly using this shelter in early morning hours.
