Through the column Citizen Herald in the edition dated October 14, I had highlighted the pathetic state of the pavement along the Swatantra Path. The pavement has been dug multiple times ostensibly for various works.
However, the pavers were not relaid. Taking note of the same, the authorities concerned seem to have started the work of laying the pavers again. However the same pavers, many of which are in broken condition are being laid. The pavers need to be replaced by new ones as was promised.
