PANJIM: The Mapusa Police on Friday arrested a 29-year-old Tanzanian national for allegedly overstaying in Goa.
According to police, the accused identified as Agata Costantino Unija was caught red-handed for staying in the State without having a valid passport or visa.
She was apprehended from Bhatiwado-Parra, police said.
An offence has been registered under Section 14 of Foreigners Act 1946 and Section 6(a) of Passport (Entry Into India) Rule 1950.
