According to Pramod Sawant, there has been a change in the last five years in the preferences of parents and students, with a greater number of them opting for government high schools over aided ones.
At an Infosys Springboard Ltd. initiative event, Sawant delivered a speech at which he stated, "Under this initiative, 1,500 tablets have been distributed to 50 government schools, empowering students by providing access to valuable online courses in both English and regional languages".

He added that although government high schools were previously underfunded, the state has concentrated on enhancing their facilities and infrastructure over the past five years. "This will help the Goa government extend quality educational content to rural areas", he said.

Students can choose from a variety of courses. Thanks to the tablet’s multilingual educational content, he added. According to Sawant, the government is dedicated to making sure that even the most remote regions have access to the newest educational technology. "Our goal is to improve learning opportunities for all students through our partnerships with private enterprises and CSR initiatives," he stated.

Overall, schools in Goa provide a rich educational environment, balancing academic rigor with cultural values, however there are areas for improvement, especially in rural settings.

I implore educators to make sure that a greater number of students enrolled in government high schools are drawn from aided institutions
