We only discuss dry and wet waste. However, in addition to this there is e-waste, paper, and cloth. I have asked the DMA and DoP to organize a campaign so as to collect this kind of waste over a period of three or four days
Goa Chief Minister, Pramod Sawant

At Pissurlem, e-waste collection has started. Additionally, Honda has a factory that handles waste paper. To collect this waste, all panchayats will need to put in two or three days of work and visit every home. ‘I implore people to hand over trash, such as used clothing and furniture’, Sawant stated, further moving on to say, ‘we will gather the waste and decide where to dispose of it’.
Speaking at a state-level event, the Chief Minister was representing the Department of Urban Development and the Goa State Urban Development Agency, which are working with the Department of Rural Development, the Department of the Environment, and the Corporation of the City Panaji (CCP) to launch the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign 2024.

The goal of the September 17–October 2 campaign is to promote a clean line and environmental responsibility culture. According to Sawant, heads of government offices now have the authority to dispose off waste and scrap worth up to Rs 5 lakh at their locations. Mamlatdars, deputy collector, or even a school headmaster may be referred to as the head of the office. In order to clean all government offices, they should finish this task in 15 days," he said. The Chief Minister further stated that they have also decided that prizes and certificates will be awarded to clean and neat offices at the taluka level".
