DABOLIM : Aircrafts which have an issue in landing for any reason have found an emergency landing place at Dabolim airport. This also goes for airways which have shifted their operations from Dabolim to Mopa. Qatar is one such example.
Qatar Airways flight which had shifted operations from Dabolim to Mopa Airport cold not land at Mopa on Tuesday at 2.15 am. The flight circled over Mopa for several hours. Finally it was diverted to Dabolim Airport and landed at 5 pm. Apparently the the international flight was diverted from Mopa to Dabolim Airport due to dense fog.
