MARGAO: The multi crore cash for government job scam is spreading its tentacles all over Goa. In the latest round of arrests three Queen Pins have been arrested by the Police –two of these in Margao job scam for cheating one youth and Queen Pin in Vasco along with her son for cheating an individual, but there are reportedly 15 other cases against her.
In a new twist to the job scam two more women have been arrested by Margao police on Thursday evening for promising a job in the Indian Navy. Two Queen pins --Sonia Achari hails from Karwar but presently staying in Margao and Vishaya Gawde hails from Sao Jose de Areal. They had taken Rs 16.12 lakhs from victim Sunil Borkar promising a job in the Indian Navy at Sea Bird project, Karwar in 2020. An FIR has already been filed against the accused. In the second case, Uma Patil and her son Shivam Patil has been accused in a second case by a woman from Baina of cheating her of Rs 1.7 lakh with the promise of a govt job. Uma Patil and her son Shivam Patil have been remanded to two days police custody.

Vasco Police had arrested Uma Patil and her son Shivam Patil residents of Baina Vasco for duping one Rashmi Chopdekar of Chimbel of Rs 6 lakh on the pretext of giving job of police constable, but failed to either give the job or return the money.
Another case has been filed against Uma Patil of vasco for defrauding a Baina woman of Rs 1.7 lakh. There are reports that there are 15 complaints against her.
