BENAULIM: In another dramatic chase, Coastal Police with the help of Pele’s speed boat nabbed a Malpe trawler which was plundering fish of Benaulim coast. The coastal police do not have boats to chase the marauding trawlers from Karnataka. The huge Malpe trawler which was boarded by Coastal Police was found to be loaded with fish caught in Goan waters. Pele said Chief Minister has said, Coastal Police can use Pele’s speed boat and a fine of Rs 10 lakh will be imposed.
the Coastal Police who chased and caught the Malpe trawler were not only using Pele’s boat but also using Pele’s Life Jackets. The Malpe trawler was caught with a huge catch of fish after a dramatic chase.
