PANJIM: With more and more agents becoming accused and more scamsters getting arrested in the Cash for Government jobs scam and their linkages getting political and public, does the BJP have to come clear, as the rot gets deeper? Where has all the money gone? The Opposition has openly alleged that many of the arrested are directly linked to the ruling party, including office bearers, mahila morcha, yuva morcha and workers. Meanwhile, the BJP has tried to distance itself from those named in the job scams.

On Monday, 12 November Shruti Prabhugaonkar was detained by Ponda Police. Prabhugaonkar was nabbed in Panjim and was on the police radar since Monday night. She is alleged to have deleted all facebook posts showing her links to a political party. Meanwhile, the Opposition and the Ruling party are sparring on the major cash for jobs scam, which has blown up in the face of Goa’s unemployed youth.

AAP Goa alleged that they had been accusing the BJP functionaries including the CM and Minister in the job scam, 8 months ago. They asked why is CM scared to reluctant to institute a judicial commission of inquiry, if he is not involved.

BJP however denied the allegations linking the scamsters to the ruling party and said the government had taken action by arresting the accused.
