Anjuna Police Arrest One in Narcotics Raid

 Anjuna Police have taken a significant step in their ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking. A narcotics raid conducted in Siolim resulted in the arrest of an individual found in possession of illegal drugs.

As per police reports the operation took place during the night of October 25-26, 2023, and was meticulously planned. The target of the raid, identified as Mr. Romi, a 40-year-old resident of Bandra (West), Mumbai, was apprehended near Reveira Saphire in Bamanwado, Siolim, Bardez, Goa. 

The arrestee was found in possession of Ecstasy tablets weighing approximately 4.22 grams and Methamphetamine weighing approximately 3.50 grams, with an estimated value of around Rs. 1,00,000.

The vehicle used for transporting the narcotics, a Ford Figo car with registration number GA 08 K 8204, was also seized and attached in connection with the crime. 

The total value of the seized narcotics and the car is estimated to be approximately Rs. 3,50,000.

The raiding team, led by P.I. Prashal P N. Dessai, consisted of several officers from the Anjuna Police Station who executed the operation with precision and coordination.
