CEO of Imagine Panaji Smart City Limited (IPSCDL) Sanjit Rodrigues along with other officials conducted a routine inspection of the Caculo Mall to STP road work on Tuesday late evening. The entire work is expected to be open on June 10th. This is because of the ongoing sewerage works of laying the main trunk line and manholes from the Fire Services premises to the Tonca STP. The said pipeline being laid will be passing along the road as well as across the St Inez Creek, further connecting to the Tonca STP.

On Tuesday late evening, Sanjit Rodrigues, CEO of Imagine Panaji Smart City Limited (IPSCDL) inspected the ongoing work of Caculo Mall to STP road work at Panjim. The road stretching from Caculo Mall to the bridge near the Sewerage Treatment Plant (STP), Tonca, was under the smart city work construction from May 14.

On 27th May, the Imagine Panaji Smart City Development Ltd. (IPSCDL) announced the successful drawing of a 700 mm diameter HDPE pipe using the Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) method, spanning from the Fire Department ground at St. Inez to the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at Tonca.

As per the high court’s order, all smart city works should be completed by May 31st but official reports say that the work is expected to be completed on June 10 due to the delayed underground sewerage work in this stretch that was done recently.
