Thousands of devotees from across Goa visited the Swami Samarth Temple in Siolim on Wednesday to commemorate Shri Swami Samarth's 145th death anniversary. The temple organised various religious & cultural programmes and devotional Aarti music on the occasion. Shri Swami Samarth is widely considered the fourth incarnation of Dattatreya. He is also believed to be a reincarnation of Narasimha Saraswati another earlier spiritual master of the Dattatreya sect.
Swami Samartha passed away in 1878, but his legacy continues to inspire and guide people around the world. His teachings and spiritual practices continue to be taught and followed by his followers.
