TWO PROCLAIMED OFFENDED ARRESTED BY CALANGUTE POLICE AND HANDED OVER TO DELHI POLICE

Two proclaimed offenders, Aziza Tanrykulyyeva, a Turkmenistan National, and her husband Sherget Afghan Sherzot, known as Sher Noor Ahmed Hakimi, an Afghan National, were apprehended by the Calangute Police and handed over to the Delhi Police on Friday. 

On October 6th, the Delhi Police Team arrived at the Calangute Police Station with the aim of locating and apprehending these individuals, who were suspected to be residing within the jurisdiction of the Calangute Police Station.

 Delhi Police had sought assistance from the local authorities to trace and capture the accused due to their involvement in a series of serious crimes registered in Delhi. These crimes included Attempted Murder, Cheating, Forgery, Abduction, and Immoral Trafficking. The accused had evaded trial in various Delhi courts, leading the Courts in Delhi to declare them as proclaimed offenders.

Under the supervision of PI Calangute Milind Bhuimbar, SDPO Porvorim Vishwesh Karpe, and SP North Nidhin Valsan, a specialized police team was formed. This team consisted of dedicated officers, including PSI Anil Polekar, HC Louence Pereira, PC Amir Garad, PC Vijay Naik, PC Yogesh Bordekar, and Driver Deepesh Ambekar.

After intensive efforts and the acquisition of crucial information, both of the wanted accused were apprehended from Bamanvaddo, Candolim. The legal procedures were followed as they were handed over to the Delhi Police Team. The Delhi Police placed the accused under arrest and secured transit remand from the Court at Mapusa. The two accused were then transported to Delhi to face the legal proceedings against them.
