PANJIM: Corlim shot-out Marcel, 3-2 via the tie-breaker in the U-13 boys category on day five of the 6th edition of the GFDC Rising Star Football Festival, at Corlim center, on Monday.
In the U-10 boy’s match, Corlim beat Marcel, 3-2.
Siolim thumped Vagator, 5-0 in a U-13 boy’s match, at Vagator ground.
A fine hat trick by Shlok Govekar and a brace by Anthony Fernandes ensured Siolim won 5-0.
Uguem defeated Devbag, 5-0 in a U-13 girls match, at Uguem ground.
Sidhi scored two quick goals in the 10th and 12th minutes.
Crossing over, Dipika managed to net one for the Uguem side and Sidhi completed her hat-trick by scoring another goal for her team.
The fifth goal was scored by Vashnavi.
In the U-13 boys match, Uguem mauled Devbag 9-0.
In the U-10 boys match, Uguem blanked Devbag 3-0. Cleston opened the score in the fifth minute and few minutes later Sahil made it 2-0.
Ten minutes into the second half, Derrick scored the third goal for Uguem.
