RAIA/MAPUSA: Curtorim Gymkhana pipped UC Telaulim by 3-2 to collect first three points in the Goa Football Association Division II League match played at Curtorim ground, on Monday.
UC Telaulim first struck through Daulat making it 1-0. Soon Regan Costa of Curtorim Gymkhana levelled the scores as he beautiful chipped over the incoming keeper off an assist by Mario Mascarenhas.
Regan soon registered his brace for Curtorim Gymkhana as he tapped in from a low cross off Godwin Mascarenhas.
Curtorim were leading 2-1 at the breather.
In the second half, UC Telaulim equalised and made it, 2-2.
UC Telaulim almost took the lead but it was Curtorim rock solid defenders Vicky and Dravid who kept them at bay. Curtorim Gymkhana then missed an easy chance as Afileo’s through ball caught Regan off side.
In the final moments of the match, Ruben Fernandes sent in a beautiful low curler cross as Ryan Fernandes made no mistake to make it 3-2 and seal the win for Curtorim Gymkhana.
U-15 DivI: Salgaocar FC, South Goa Utd, Calangute
Assn gain 3 points
Salgaocar FC, South Goa United and Calangute Association registered wins in the Goa Football Association U-15 Division I League matches on Monday.
At Don Bosco Oratory ground, Fatorda, South Goa United CSC defeated Pax of Nagoa SC 7-0. Kanhiya scored four goals, while Jaylen Gomes, Elsan D’Souza and Joshua D’Souza scored a goal each for South Goa United.
At Dramapur ground, Calangute Association outplayed Churchill Brothers 4-1. Asher Fernandes, Yamir Shirodkar, Dhavan Shirodkar and Joshua Fernandes scored a goal each for Calangute Association. Joe Rozvey Andrade reduced the margin for Churchill Brothers.
At Sinquetim Sports complex ground, Salgaocar FC scraped past Guardian Angel SC 4-3. Joseph D’Costa scored a brace, while Reuben Barbosa and Nihant Darokar scored a goal each for Salgaocar FC.
For Guardian Angel SC, all the three goals were scored by Trinsly Menezes.

Raia SC and St Francis Xavier SC, Gonvol-Xeldem, match of the Goa Football Association U-13 Division II League match played at Betalbatim Church ground, ended in a 1-1 draw. Johan Oliveira gave lead to St Francis Xavier SC, while Swain Fernandes equalised for Raia SC.
Dunes SC walked past Eagles SC by 5-1 margin at Sinquerim ground. The highlight of the match was a hat-trick by Harsh Narse, with Preston Fernandes netting a brace.
Bhikaji Kavlekar scored the consolation goal for Eagles SC.
