RAIA: Curtorim Gymkhana defeated Ambelim SC, 4-3, to enter into the quarter-finals of the OL of Fatima Cup inter-village football tournament, played at Dicarpale football ground, on Monday.
Neliston Silvera opened the scoreline for Curtorim in the 25th minute, than Mackdon Fernandes netted a brace in the 36th and 40th minute, later in the 50th minute Joy Hilario netted the fourth goal for Curtorim.
Ambelim than netted three goals through Cletus Pinto, Jevino D,Silva and Samson Dias in the 54th,56th and 60th minute. Joy Hilario of Curtorim was awarded the man-of-the-match award.
