RAIA: South Goa United Club of Sports and Cultural Club outplayed Panjim Footballers 4-0 in the Goa Football Association U-15 Division I League match played at Don Bosco Oratory ground, Fatorda, on Monday.
Panjim Footballers goalkeeper Adhva Naik gave his best, while Armstrong Fernandes shined for South Goa United Club of Sports and Cultural Club.
South Goa United Club of Sports and Cultural Club netted the first goal of the match through Armstrong Fernandes in the 39th minute. Shiva Lohra netted the second goal for South Goa United Club of Sports and Cultural Club in the 57th minute. Rahul Sherpali netted the third, while Shanoy Quadros added his name to the scorer’s list.
In another match played at Tilak Maidan, Vasco, Vasco SC and Cortalim Villagers Social Welfare Sports Club played a goalless draw.
