VARCA: Excel Rovers Veterans, Loutolim defeated Chinchinim Veterans 4-3 via the tie-breaker to move into the quarter-finals of the 1st All Goa Late Clement Veterans football tournament organized by Youth of Fatrade, at Varca football ground, on Monday.
Both the teams played goalless at the end of full time.
In the resultant tie-breaker, Seby Coelho, Remmy Baretto, Vincente Barboza and Camilo Monteiro scored for Excel Rovers while Orlando Viegas, Agustino Cardozo and Presley Pereira netted for Chinchinim Veterans.
Rosario Dias of Chinchinim Veterans was adjudged the man-of-the-match.
