MAPUSA: FC Sanquelim came back from a goal down to hold Sirsaim SWC to a 2-2 draw in the GFA’s Division III League Bardez Zone match played at Quitula ground, on Monday.
It was FC Sanquelim colts that forged ahead in the 20th minute from Vicky Gawas strike, only to find Bhuvan Parwar net the equaliser with a neat placement, 1-1.
On crossing over, Sirsaim SWC this time took the lead with Bhuvan Parwar netting his brace in the 57th minute. FC Sanquelim went all out in search of the equaliser where finally Rudresh Mandrekar netted the goal to make it 2-2.
At Mandrem ground, Bhumika SC managed to edge past ABC Arambol by 4-3 margin. For the winners Pramesh Asvekar, Durgesh Kinlekar, Roger D'Souza and Pratik Sawant scored a goal each, while for ABC Arambol colts Manuel Rodrigues, Lynel Fernandes and Jesus D’Souza scored.
At Duler Stadium, Assonora United FC registered a 4-1 win over Siddeshwar SC. Pruthviraj Gosavi netted a brilliant hat-trick with Jovian Conceicao adding his name to the scorers list. Nikhil Kholkar netted the consolation goal for Siddeshwar SC.

RAIA: United Boys of Dando, Colva, defeated St Anthony’s SC, Colva, to register win in the GFA Division III Salcete Zone League match played at Dando ground, Benaulim, on Monday. David Costa netted a goal each for UBD Colva in the 24th and 70th minute.
