RAIA: Goa sub junior girls will open their campaign against Chandigarh on September 9, in the Sub Junior Girls National Football Championship 2024-25 in Tier 2, Group B comprising Goa, Kerala, Chandigarh and Jammu and Kashmir, from September 9 to 17, at Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh.
The Goa Football Association has selected the following players to represent the State team: Deepika Gaunder, Joanna Isabel de Braganca, Avika A Shetty, Gwyneth Fernandes, Jasmine Baral, Snovia Rita D’Souza, Venicia Carvalho, Leysha Judith D’Costa, Siya Naik, Analee D’Costa, Sanika Sandeep Kuttikar, Merrily Gonsalves, Prachi Gaonkar, Shanaica Gonsalves, Asma Santosh Bandodkar, Sansia Rodrigues, Alicia Ferrao, Clany Gomes, Sahana Mahesh Gaonkar, Alithea Carvalho, Nisha Dhami, Beverly Dias.
Officials: Astrid Pereira (head coach), Stessi Cardozo (assistant coach), Darling McCann (manager) and Dr Anisha Sinai Priolkar (physiotherapist).
The team will leave for the championship on September 5.
