MAPUSA: Goa Velha SC got the better of Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda, 5-4 margin to move into the semi-finals of 480 years of St Michael’s Church Trophy organised by Clube Sao miguel de Taleigao, at Taleigao ground, on Friday.
The teams were locked in a goalless draw at the end of the regulation time.
In the penalty shootout, for Goa Velha colts Sanjeev Kunkolkar, Sainath Kankonkar, Krishan Madkaikar, Francis Alonso and Joseph Rodrigues scored.
While for Don Bosco Oratory Francis Andrade, Millson Barretto, Charles Miranda and Ashley Furtado shot on target.
