MAPUSA: The match between Guardian Angel SC and SCC Cavelossim was delayed by 20 minutes on Saturday after the match officials failed to report on time.
It was learned that Duler Stadium manager Anthony Lobo made the last ditch arrangement to avoid postponement of the game. Lobo contacted Match Commissioner(MC) Gregory Estrocio to know if he had any knowledge about the match official’s appointment.
The appointment of the GPL matches was being done by Anthony D’Costa.
However, Gregory used his good office and managed to get three referees and the match took off.
