RAIA: Mohan Saini bagged the gold medal in the 10,000m men’s event at the 27th National Federation Senior Athletics Competition held at Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneshwar, recently.
Mohan’s outstanding performance, clocking an impressive time of 30:41.65, has brought immense pride to the State of Goa. The Goa Athletics Association congratulated Saini on winning the gold medal at the national athletics competition.
Goa Athletics Association Secretary Sharendra Naik expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the gold medallist.
“Mohan’s dedication, hard work and perseverance have truly paid off, and we are incredibly proud of his accomplishment. His victory is not just a personal triumph but also an inspiration for all aspiring athletes in Goa. We look forward to seeing him achieve even greater heights in his athletic career. This achievement shall encourage young athletes to pursue their dreams with determination,” Sharendra stated.
The association also extended its congratulations to Puneet Yadav and Ankit Deshwal from Haryana for winning the silver and bronze medals, respectively, and appreciated the spirit of competition displayed by all the participants.
