RAIA: Sao Jose de Areal outplayed Parish Youth Nuvem 5-3 via tie-breaker to move into the quarter-finals of the Gold Silver Rolling Trophy, at Rosary ground, Navelim, on Tuesday.
Stalen of Sao Jose de Areal took a power-packed shot in the 7th minute but was blocked by Jurgen of Parish Youth Nuvem in the 12th minute. Parish Youth Nuvem too had chances to score through Alloysous and Frazier in the 15th and 20th minutes but both missed the rival target by whiskers.
At the end of regulation time, both the teams settled for a goalless draw.
In the resultant tie-breaker, Sao Jose de Areal netted through Tyson, Stalen, Frazier, Ashnoy and Vounel while for Parish Youth Nuvem Allitsius, Frazier and Jurgen scored.
Stalen of Sao Jose de Areal was awarded the man-of-the-match award.
