PANJIM: M7 Football Club will organise their fourth edition of the Spartacus-King of the week futsal tournament from August 20 to 26, at Don Bosco court, Panjim.
The seven-day tournament will feature 30 teams including outstation team – Mean Machine Mumbai battling it out in a league-cum-knockout phase for the ultimate crown.
"Enjoying success in our previous editions we have thought of making the fourth edition bigger and better. So this year we have 30 teams playing in tournament in a league-cum-knockout format," said Aaron D’Souza tournament director.
The 30 teams have been potted in eight groups. The top two teams of each group will qualify for the round of 16 clashes.
The inaugural match will be played between Lazy Boys and Thivim Sports Club on August 20, at 6.30 p.m. The knock-out phase will be played on Saturday and the final will be played on Sunday.
